After completing the course  — student not only acquires the prestigious CA Certificate but also becomes member of the worlds second largest accounting body – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. A CA can then setup her own firm/business or can do job in India or Abroad

First of all any student irrespective of her stream (Commerce, Science, Humanities) can become a Chartered Accountant. There are 2 routes to become CA , After – 
1) 12th – Clear CA Foundation > Appear for Intermediate examination after 8 months and Clear either 1 or both groups  > Complete 3 years of practical training > Appear for CA Final examinations (after completing 3 years of training and clearing both groups of CA Intermediate) > Clear CA Final exams and get CA Degree. Best part is that it can be done along with graduation — students can pursue any graduation course and side by side appear for CA exams.
2) Graduation – 

Start 3 years of practical training > Appear for Intermediate examination after 9 months > Clear both groups of CA Intermediate and complete 3 years of training > Clear CA Final Exams > Get CA Degree. Eligibility [

Fee Structure For Chartered Accountancy Course

Approximate fee:

₹ 9000 – CA Foundation (On starting the CA Course)

₹18000 – CA Intermediate (After clearing CA Foundation or Registration through Direct Entry)

₹22000 – CA Final (After clearing CA Intermediate)

₹15000 – Additional Courses Information Technology and Communication Skills

₹64000  = Total Fee

However in Practical Training students can earn stipend @ ₹3000 per month to ₹10000 per month depending on the firm in which he/she is registered. In the last year of practical training student can also work as an industrial trainee in a company where stipend ranges from ₹15000 p.m. to ₹50000 p.m.

Kindly note that CA is a distance learning course and students are required to study on their own — though they can take private coaching classes at their own expense.
